Plan Finland’s Plan magazine a full package of well written stories about children around the globe. A new number is available 4 times per year. It’s written in Finnish. I’m responsible for the design.

Red Bull Ragnarok, Norway

End of this week will be super sweet. I’m gonna be at Norway snowkiting. Hopeful I’m there with some people from Cabrinha team and Captain’s Shop. Karri 3nen will be also there from Finland with a few good riders Pete Lehikoinen ja Mikki.
------ The participant event Red Bull Ragnarok will select up to 200 riders from all over the world to race for 3 hours; 6 rounds of approximately 30 minutes each, stretching from 10-20km. After each round, if not already given up voluntarily, a number of snow-kite heroes will be eliminated.  The name "Ragnarok" stems from an incident in Norse mythology, describing the last battle between the good and evil Gods, where only the heroes of the battlefield survive.  Red Bull Ragnarok imitates this myth in the respect that only a mere few snow-kite heroes will succeed. Endurance is paramount, and only the toughest riders will make it to the finish line. Freestylers will be favored by having the possibility to overcome some obstacles in order to shorten the track.  The event will be carried out on one race day during the period April 15th – 18th on the great plateau by Haugastøl, Norway. ------
I’m really psyched to go. I’ll take my snowboard and two kites with. Camera and I also got change to borrow one HD helmet camera.

A new Plan Finland MaailmanKuva magazine is now ready and just came out from the print house. Articles are from various well known researchers and from professional writers. I’m responsible for the design.

New site online

Mildlife has been busy with various tasks and with wonderful life. It is like always that own site is one that is not too high on the task list. Anyways now the new site is online. Old works will be transfer to this site later.
After getting back from New Zealand adventure Mildlife has gone bigger and bolder. Field of expertise has got wider. Social media in multiple forms is now one main focus. It concentrates to use digital tools to make people closer in real life.
Kiteboarding is also something that has come to stay. Mildlife has start cooperating with kite gear shop Captains Shop. Mikko is now one of Cabrinha team riders. We will be offering later some kitesurfing services.
Mildlife will be continuing to make various design tasks, but ‘cause the lack of time, we can’t offer too tight timetables.
Mild Thesis Project is progressing and will be ready hopeful in the end of year 2010. Read more about the project from its blog. If you want to participate it, please contact me.
